Ellyana's Newborn Session
I had the pleasure of photographing little Ellyana a few days ago. She is just a sweet little thing, weighing less than 6lbs at birth. I also did her Mom and Dad's maternity session a few weeks ago , and boy was it chilly! We stayed warm in the studio for Elly's newborn session. She was wide awake, so we started with her in this wreath that I bought at a craft store. I saw the beautiful pink, purple, and blue flowers and said "I have to put a baby girl in that!" I lined it with purple dyed wool, and placed it on top of some jute fabric.
After a bottle and some snuggles, Ellyana fell into a deep sleep, so I seized the opportunity and posed her on the beanbag. She seemed to really like being on her belly.
She just has the most beautiful pouty lips!

I'm so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to photograph Ellyana and her family, I hope that they return for milestone sessions or birthday photos in the future!
